I still can't believe how close I got to a resting stag at Tatton Park yesterday. I found myself creeping up to sneak a few shots with a couple of other nature enthusiasts toting super telephoto lenses. It got me thinking properly about my own kit and I ended up going home and researching a new camera I've been wanting a long time. Sure, my D7000 does the job but the Nikon D810 is one of the most important cameras released in the last decade. I'll be very interested to revisit Tatton Park in a couple of weeks and compare the two cameras.
One thing I love about photography is that I'm always learning, whether it's about composition or technical aspects, every day I'm learning something new.
Here's a little bonus shot below. A test shot from yesterday before I went out. Luka is often my subject these days!
I'm the founder of Tinska and aside from photography, I spend my time practicing yoga, reading anything from Beat poetry to Science Fiction and running around after a cheeky puppy.
